Automatic emergency braking off

Most lamps light for a few seconds when you power the car on. That check is not a fault by itself. This page does not replace the owner’s manual for your model year and market. Icons are schematic illustrations used on this site. They are not offered as the vehicle maker’s artwork, and they have not been checked against it. They may not match the lamp on your cluster. Urgency levels are this site’s classification, not the maker’s. If they differ from the manual, follow the manual.
What it means
This lamp means automatic emergency braking is unavailable on the Han. Either you switched it off, or the forward camera or radar cannot be used, so the car will not brake by itself for traffic ahead. Snow, mud, a sticker, heavy rain, or glare on the sensor area are typical reasons. Export Han manuals list this driver-assistance state on the flagship. It is separate from the red brake-system lamp, which is about the pedal brakes, and from the stability lamp. A chime and a flashing warning while you close on a vehicle ahead is a different, immediate prompt to brake. This page is the steady off or unavailable lamp.
What to do
Brake yourself. Switch automatic emergency braking back on when you want it, and when the sensor area is clear. Clearing snow, mud, or a sticker from that area is the usual way a blocked sensor recovers. If the lamp stays on in clear weather with the feature switched on, have the camera and radar checked. This lamp only reports the state of automatic emergency braking. It does not mean the service brakes have been checked. If the pedal feels wrong, or the red brake lamp is on, stop somewhere safe and have the car checked.

- A blocked sensor is a common reason for this lamp. With the area clear and the feature switched on, the lamp should stay out. If it returns at once, have the forward sensors checked.
