- Check soon
Most lamps light for a few seconds when you power the car on. That check is not a fault by itself. This page does not replace the owner’s manual for your model year and market. Icons are schematic illustrations used on this site. They are not offered as the vehicle maker’s artwork, and they have not been checked against it. They may not match the lamp on your cluster. Urgency levels are this site’s classification, not the maker’s. If they differ from the manual, follow the manual.
What it means
The car has cut the power it will deliver. The lamp is often drawn as a turtle. It can appear when the traction battery is very low, very hot, or very cold, and also when a fault is limiting output. The accelerator will feel flat. That is the system protecting itself. The Han uses this same turtle-style limit when the pack is very low, very hot, or very cold, or when a fault is capping output. It is protection, not a driver mode.
What to do
Ease off and leave a larger gap. If the battery is nearly empty, charge it. If the battery-temperature lamp is also on, stop and let the pack cool. If the lamp stays on with a normal charge level and a normal temperature, have the drive system checked. Do not keep asking for full acceleration.

Common questions
- The accelerator feels flat. Is that a sport setting I switched off?
- No. This lamp is a limit the car applies to protect the battery or the drive. Charge, let the pack return to a normal temperature, or have a fault checked. It is not a driving mode you select.
- It came on with almost no charge left. What should I do?
- That is a common reason for the limit. Drive gently to a charger and expect less acceleration until the pack has charge again.
